I used red wired ribbon trimmed with little white dots but you can you any color you choose instead, along with different color conversation heart motifs. (They come in all colors!)
Conversation heart hair bow

Materials:
56" of 1 ¼" wired ribbon
Foam conversation heart stickers (I found a whole bag at the craft store for less than $2)
Mini Bowdabra with hair bow toll attachment
Bowdabra bow wire
Scissors
Ruler
Hot glue gun and hot glue sticks
Ribbon covered alligator clips
Lighter or clear nail polish
Instructions:

First, gather your all your supplies. Next, cut an 18" length of bow wire. Then fold it in half and insert it into the Bowdabra. You will have a loop on one side and two loose wires on the other.

Next, cut 56" of ribbon. Use a lighter or some clear nail polish on the ends to keep them from fraying. To start with, fold the ribbon in half to find the center and then insert it into the Bowdabra.

Now begin making two-inch loops, starting with the right side.

Continue alternating sides with matching 2" loops until you have four loops on each side.

Scrunch down with the Bowdabra wand.

Finishing your bow

Insert the two loose wires through the loop (to make a slip knot) and pull tightly while the bow is still in the Bowdabra. Separate the ends and pull tight. Remove from the Bowdabra, turn to the back and tie another knot. Lastly, f luff and adjust your bow.

Fold the bow tails in half lengthwise and cut towards the fold to make dove tails if you desire.

Finally choose a two matching foam conversation heart stickers, remove the paper backing and attach two hearts together, thus making one thicker heart.

Attach a ribbon covered alligator heart to the back using a hot glue gun and glue sticks.  You may want to use the excess bow wire to tie the clip on as well so that it will be extra secure.

Lastly, it's nice to attach your hair to heavy watercolor paper for gift-giving. Anyhow, visit Bowdabra designer, Crystal at her blog Make it easy crafts, Facebook, pinterest and other social media for more of her crafty tutorials and recipes!

DIY Felt Hair Bow

DIY-HAIR-BOW-1

Bows are great choice if you would like to add a cute little detail to your outfits. You can wear them on a half tail, on the side of your hair, on a bun, just about anyway! Just get creative, and you will get adorable results! Luckily, they are super easy to make too!

 1. Two strips of felt. One for the middle of the bow (the skinnier one) and one for your bow (the larger one). // 2. Small barrette // 3. Scissors // 4. Glue gun. These are all that you need.

 1. Grab the larger strip of felt and fold both sides. You should make sure that both sides are even first. Then use your glue gun to add a drop or 2 on each side of the bow.
 2. Once the glue is dry, clinch the bow in the middle. If one of the sides comes apart, you can add a little bit more glue, and then clinch it again.
3. Now you can grab the skinnier felt piece and wrap it around the middle of the bow where you clinched it. Use as much of the skinny piece as you think works.
4. Then you cut the skinny piece and add a drop of super glue.
5. Now you can glue on your small barrette.
6. You're finished!

Theses hair bows are so easy and fast to make! You could also surprise your friends with a little handmade gift!
